Disabling shadow rendering for a specific camera

I am trying to disable shadows for just one camera in the scene because I am lerping the field of view based on movement, and I was curious if I just render shadows on a camera with a static fov if the shadows would appear more stable and not jitter when the fov is updated.

Is there anyway to do this in the editor or by setting up custom render flags in some way?

edit : might be a stupid way to think about solving the issue but if I could get pointed in the right direction to smooth out the shadows while updating the fov I would appreciate it.

thanks in advance!

Yes, you can do that. Under the camera there are “Render Flags” Where you can set what “layers” you want the camera to render, one of them being shadows. You will have to go through and re-enable what you do want the camera to render but, it’s there. In the image you can see the Editor camera is rendering shadows while the image preview does not have shadows.

As for your Jittering Shadows Question, i’m not really sure what it means so… ? sorry.
