I know there are posts about animation retargeting on the forum, and I’ve seen that this feature has been implemented, so I decided to run a test.
My process:
- Downloaded two characters from Mixamo, Michelle and Timmy, in T-Pose.
- Applied the Hip Hop Dancing animation (default parameters) to Michelle, downloaded without skin.
- Imported the two models and the animation ( Import options: I unchecked all the checkboxes).
- Then, as described in the documentation, I checked the T-pose of both models in Blender and found no obvious differences. However, the behavior in the engine is exactly as shown in my screenshot: the arm-crossing issue I often encountered in Unreal. But in the Flax engine, I don’t know where to start to solve it.
