Hi everyone! I’m new to Flax Engine and really liking it so far. Apologies if this is a duplicate question.

I noticed that the Properties panel and various Settings windows (like Project Settings) lack a search/filter bar to find specific parameters by name. Right now, have to look for them manually. Are there any plans to add a search bar functionality to these panels in future updates, or is there an existing way/shortcut to do this that I might have missed? Thanks!

Hi,

there are plans to add search for the Properties Panel some time in the future (see: [Proposal] Search bar for properties panel · Issue #2820 · FlaxEngine/FlaxEngine · GitHub) and there is a request for search in the Editor Settings (see: [Request] Editor Settings Search Field · Issue #1768 · FlaxEngine/FlaxEngine · GitHub), though nothing is planned there.

Feel free to react with a thumbs up to either of them.

Currently, unfortunately there isn’t a way to search the Properties Panel or the Editor Options.
