UWP Support

Hello, was there actually a reason to remove UWP support?

UWP support was actually a criterion when I switched from Unity.

I liked being able to quickly export a game to the Xbox and play it on the TV from my sofa.

This platform was not used by many developers and maintenance of it was hard due to Microsoft’s design. Also, Microsoft deprecated it in favor of Microsoft Game Development Kit (GDK) which is implemented in Flax and used for Xbox.

This is a pity.

That would also mean that Microsoft no longer wants to continue the “Creators Program”.

This was the only cost-effective way for indie developers to publish games for the Xbox in the store.
A one-off payment of around €20 for a simple developer account.

All other options require an ID@XBOX account.
